Dean Huang 黃初雷

 雷，台灣高雄人，學齡即愛繪畫，少年起開始對水彩著迷。十五年(2011)前遷徙溫哥華後選擇在溪湖遍佈、饒富鄉野情趣的楓樹嶺落腳。面對清凜的雪山以及四季變化不斷的景色，遂畫風以自然為師、以景物為主。擅長水彩、粉彩，風格清新脫俗典雅生動，以空靈留白的構圖、暈染的氣韻、山水草木的骨架，兼融了中華藝術特質，宛如歌頌大自然的詩篇。作品於國際書畫名家等展覽四十餘場展出，歷任多次美展、書畫比賽、青少年美術比賽等評審委員，曾任加拿大中華文化藝術總會會長，現為該會永久會務顧問。

 

Born in Kao Hsiung, Taiwan. Dean Huang developed a passion for art at early age. And ultimately fell in love with water color painting. Since moving to Vancouver 15 years ago, Dean has developed a strong appreciation for the nature he is surrounded by. From the changes in the seasons to the snow capped mountains, Dean finds inspiration in nature. He is specializing in water color and pastel. Dean’s style was found in the freedom of nature’s spirit. In his works one will find a traditional technique, styled by the beauty of environment. Dean Huang has participated in more than 40 domestic and international exhibitions. He has been a jury member for many youth art contests and he served as a president and currently is a consultant of Chinese Artists Association of Canada.
